US President Joe Biden on Wednesday (October 16) announced a $425 million arms package for Ukraine in a call with the country’s President Volodymr Zelenskyy.
The package includes air defence and armoured vehicles, the White House said in a readout of the call, adding that Biden had briefed Zelenskyy “on his efforts to surge security assistance to Ukraine over the remainder of his term in office.”
The announcement came ahead of a meeting with European leaders in Berlin to discuss Ukraine, the White House said
