Jamie Foxx Birthday Scuffle Began Over Penis Laser Pointer

Must read

Jamie Foxx‘s birthday party scuffle all began due to a penis-shaped laser pointer. TMZ reports that folks from the Jackass franchise’s production company, Dickhouse Productions, were the culprits in the glass-throwing incident that led to Foxx having to get stitches.

The altercation went down on Friday (Dec. 13) at Mr. Chow’s in Beverly Hills after the production company sent a drink to Foxx. The comedian and his party were confused by the gesture until the waiter told Foxx, “They are waving at you, wave back.”

Jamie looked up to see 12 guys from the production company trying to get his attention. Jamie Foxx was further confused by their laughter and snarking until he noticed a projected image of a penis on his and his kid’s table. “In front of my daughters?” Foxx reportedly exclaimed, reacting to the inappropriate gesture. “It’s my birthday, what is wrong with you?” the They Cloned Tyrone entertainer questioned before leaving immediately to get stitches.

Dickhouse Productions’ attorney Bryan Freedman, addressed the situation in a newly released statement, saying, “Although the crew has the greatest respect for Jamie, the version of events that has been presented is totally inaccurate and deeply unfair to those attending their holiday celebration that night.”

Jamie Foxx spoke to the police shortly after he received medical treatment. The outlet reports that an investigation into the incident is currently underway.

In the aftermath of the attack, Foxx took to Instagram to respond to what had happened—no pun intended. “The devil is busy,” the post said. “But I’m too blessed to be stressed.” He went a bit deeper in his caption, writing, “The devil is a lie. Can’t win here… thank you to everybody that pray and check on me… when your light is shining bright… they try to bring you darkness … but they don’t know that you’re built for it.”
